Partnerships

As an AAU research organization, we are dedicated to connecting with visionary partners in industry, foundations and other philanthropic organizations, and our accomplished and dedicated alumni community. We work with these teams to identify areas of shared interest and opportunities for collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.

Serves all members of the University community through four main units: the Office of Technology Transfer (OTT), the Coulter Center for Translational Research, the Launch Pad, and the 'Cane Angel Network.
As the U mobilizes on all fronts, many of you – our alumni, parents, and friends – have asked how you can help. During this time of uncertainty, your support can help our students rise above the challenge, enhance patient care, and further our mission of transforming lives.

The University of Miami’s Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (OCFR) provides detailed and up-to-date historical, financial, and grant-making information. They can provide assistance on a case-by-case basis for major funding requests.

The University Research Council was chartered by the administration and faculty government to foster, encourage and promote research by members of the faculty and students. Specific policy recommendations are referred to the Executive Vice President and Provost. The functions of the Council fall within four categories:

The Statistical Supporting Unit (STATS-U) provides quantiative and qualitative research training, grant development, consultation on quantitative and qualitative research methods for faculty, staff, and graduate students at the University of Miami.
The Miami Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) provides crucial support and resources to our investigators as they plan and implement research studies and clinical trials that aim to improve the health of patients and communities.
