Navigating Research

Navigating the research landscape at the University of Miami can be complex – but you don’t have to do it alone. The Research Compass and Research Navigator are university-wide resources available through the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. These resources are available to all stakeholders across the University of Miami, including all faculty, staff, students, and collaborators.

The Research Compass helps you find the necessary resources, contact and information at each stage of the research project life cycle, from starting a project to disseminating findings to communities. Figure out the right trainings, tools, collaborators, and resources – at the moment you need it in the research process. In addition, find useful Grant Boilerplates that contain standard grant form language, as well as tip sheets and quick reference guides.

The Research Navigator complements the Compass, and assists with providing clear pathways to the right research offices, experts, and support across the university.

Together, these tools and services empower researchers and administrators to work more efficiently, stay informed, and keep their projects on the right track.
