The Research Intelligence & Capacity (RIC) team within the Office of the Vice Provost for Research & Scholarship (OVPRS) empowers the University of Miami’s research community by delivering data-driven insights, operational support, and strategic systems management. RIC oversees the development and optimization of research platforms such as IBISResearch and Velos, ensuring they align with institutional priorities and compliance standards. The team also provides dashboards and reporting and tailored support through its help desk and collaborative tools.
