Research Training Resources

The University of Miami Office of the Vice Provost for Research and Scholarship is committed to providing education and training to the UM research community and offers a variety of educational seminars, workshops, webinars and networking opportunities focused on compliance and regulatory submissions. In addition to organizing our own events, we also host expert speakers from government agencies and academia and facilitate events with other University of Miami compliance offices.

Our goal is to provide timely education on the evolving regulatory landscape and to foster the exchange of ideas and best practices that support the research enterprise at the University of Miami.

Beyond our educational programming, we also manage the  Research Administration at the U (RAU) curriculum, a mandatory curriculum designed for individuals who are responsible for pre- and post-award activities. We also offer additional educational opportunities for all University of Miami faculty and staff involved in human subjects and animal research, conflict of interest, responsible conduct of research, effort certification and export control.
