The University of Miami Writing Center offers a range of writing services to help Miller School of Medicine faculty researchers, post-doctoral fellow, and graduate students with their writing (grants, articles, and other manuscripts) and teaching. The National Science Foundation Grant Writing Workshop Series is designed to help faculty strengthen their competitiveness for external funding opportunities. Through a series of sessions led by experienced consultants and research development professionals, participants will gain practical guidance on developing strong, fundable proposals for National Science Foundation programs. Topics include identifying the right funding opportunity, understanding review criteria, crafting compelling project narratives, developing broader impacts, building budgets, and responding to reviewer feedback. Sessions also provide access to sample documents, templates, recorded presentations, and other proposal development resources. Workshop materials and recordings are available to University of Miami faculty and staff through secure SSO access.
Hanover Research provides grant development support and strategic research services to help faculty identify funding opportunities and strengthen proposal competitiveness. Available services include funding searches, proposal reviews, proposal editing, grantsmanship support, sponsor landscape analyses, benchmarking, and strategic planning resources. Faculty may also access webinars, templates, training materials, and consultation services designed to support proposal development across a wide range of disciplines and sponsors. These resources are available to University of Miami faculty and staff through secure SSO access.
