The Applications Team, within the Office of Research Administration, is the primary office authorized to provide institutional endorsement, review and submit proposals, and accept awards on behalf of the University of Miami and its faculty, in accordance with federal and state regulations, as well as university and sponsor policies.

Services

Reviews proposals for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with sponsor guidelines and institutional policies prior to submission to funding agencies
Coordinates interaction between the University, research faculty and sponsors
Provide guidance interpreting sponsor and university policies
Review and submit non-financial prior approval requests
Receive, review and accept awards
Signs and submits as Authorized Organizational Representative
